Wild rocket-Rucola 'Selvatica' Diplotaxis tenuifolia-BS1765
Arugula 'Selvatica' germinates slightly slower than normal arugula; a soil temperature of approximately 20 degrees is desirable. Make a homogeneous bed, without large lumps. The leaves can be collected for a long time, from about 8 weeks after sowing. Remove flowers regularly.
It is best to sow in rows - at a distance of 10-15 cm - from the beginning of May until deep in autumn. Sowing in small portions once every 3 to 4 weeks gives a good spread of the harvest. Early sowing (March and April) is not recommended due to premature budding. With late sowing under glass (October) you can enjoy this culture for a very long time in winter, the risk of frost damage is small.
TIP: Also suitable as baby plants (sowing period: April-September)!
