Goodman is an early variety for summer and autumn cultivation. The crop is vigorous and has attractive upright dark leaves with good self-coverability. Cauliflower requires good fertilization and a high pH of the soil for an optimal harvest. Sow in a seed tray in mid-March and prick out in a flower pot when the first germ leaves are visible. Plant out after about 3 weeks when the plant has formed 4 true leaves.
