Mizuna-Raapsteel 'Mizuna' Brassica rapa -BS1725
Turnip 'Mizuna' is a fine Japanese leaf cabbage and has a loose head with pinnate leaves, bright green with light veins. Delicious as a stew or raw in a salad.
Turnip greens are a typical spring vegetable. They light up easily in the summer, but no more in the fall. It can be sown in a cold greenhouse as early as February, and outdoors from mid-March to August. Too little fertilizer can cause yellow leaves. Yellow leaves can be eaten normally. Delicious as a stew or raw in a salad.
Harvest: after 6 weeks (height 10 to 15 cm).
ADVICE: Also suitable as baby plants (sowing period: March-August)!
